A webinar was held on ISHRAE Orientation Program and Career Opportunities in HVAC & R Industry leaded by the speakers Mr. Mihir Sanghvi (Regional Director West Zone), Mr. Amod Dixit (President of Mumbai Chapter), Mr. Sanjay Verma (Student Chair West Zone), Mr. Vivek Marde (Student Chair Mumbai Chapter), Dr. Kavita Dhanawade (Women Chair Mumbai Chapter), Mr. Durvesh Mohammed Touhid (Design and Co-Chai) organised by the ISHRAE club of the SIGCE, for the students of the mechanical branch of SIGCE on 9th of July, 2021 on the Google Meet platform.
The webinar was organised for the students to get the information about ISHRAE and the benefits to join ISHRAE. The event started with the introduction of the speaker to the students and with the greetings from the HOD Dr. H S Dhanawade. Then all the dignitaries, HOD and participants pay respect towards our nation by playing National Anthem. Then the speakers gave a lot of information about ISHRAE and the opportunities in the field of Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). The speakers acknowledged the different aspects and how it is useful and works with hands in hands along with the engineering. The audience got a brief idea about ISHRAE and various information including all the aspects of how it will affect the engineering and technology sector. Later, there were some questions raised by the students which were answered by the speakers. Speakers too inspired the students through their journey, how to proceed and give an approach.
The webinar was very interactive from both ends. Students got useful information about the topic and the response was overwhelming from student’s side too. The program was concluded by giving vote of thanks by our team member Nikhil Gujar from BE Mechanical. Here are some of the glimpses from webinar.
