Admission Procedure for First Year / Direct Second Year Engineering – 2018-19

First Year:

CAP Reporting admission to First year Engineering will remain open as per DTE schedule.
All the candidates who have allotted admission to SIGCE in CAP will have to report to Office along with following documents (Original and 3 set of duly self attested photocopies)

1. College allotment letter from DTE website
2. Receipt-cum Acknowledgement issued by FC
3. Reciept-cum Acknowledgment of Application form (Given by ARC)
4. Three colored passport side Photograph
5. Marksheet of SSC (Std. X) examination
6. Marksheet of HSC (Std. XII) / Diploma in Engineering (All Semester).
7. MHT-CET / JEE Main Score card for current year.
8. Migration Certificate (in case of candidate passing qualifying exam. from any other Board other than Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education).
9. Gap Certificate on stamp paper of Rs.100/- duly notarized. (This is for those candidates who have passed HSC /12th Standard in March 2017 or before and presently not studying in any course / institution.)
10. Domicile Certificate of candidate.(If necessary)
11. Caste Certificate for Backward class Candidates.
12. Caste Validity Certificate for SC/ST/VJ/DT, (NT-A), (NT-B), (NT-C), (NT-D) /OBC/SBC.
13. Non Creamy Layer (This certificate should be valid upto 31st March 2019) for VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC and OBC .
14. Proforma -A, Proforma -B, Proforma – G1, Proforma – G2 required for Type of Candidate – C,D,E, respectively.( As mentioned in DTE (MH.) brochure. (if applicable)
15. Necessary certificates required for Type of candidate -Def-1, Def-2, Def-3,Physical handicapped students, J & K Migrant Candidates, Economically weaker section as mentioned in DTE (MH.) Brochure.( if applicable )
16 Aadhar Card (Xerox copy) If Adhar card not available all are required to apply for it immediately and submit to college office.

Documents required for Direct 2nd Year Admission.
1. CAP Admission Seat Allotment Letter from the DTE (MH) (For CAP students only). 2. Receipt-cum Acknowledgement issued by FC
3. Reciept-cum Acknowledgment of Application form (Given by ARC)
4. Marksheet of SSC (Std. X) examination
5. Marksheet of HSC (Std. XII) / Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc Degree (All Semester ).
6. Diploma Marksheet.(All Semester)
7. Diploma Provisional Passing Certificate.
8. College Leaving Certificate after passing Diploma Exam from last attended College.
9. Migration Certificate.
10. Gap Certificate on stamp paper of 100/-duly notarized. (This is for those candidates who have passed Diploma in March 2017 or before and presently not studying in any course/institution)
11. Domicile Certificate of candidate.
12. All necessary documents required for Physically Handicapped and Reserved Catagory Students.
13. Adhar Card ( Xerox Copy ).

• The fees will be accepted only by Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn on any Nationalized/Scheduled bank in favor of “Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering” payable at Navi Mumbai
• All the candidate required to enroll for University of Mumbai Pre-Admission Online Registration form and bring a printout of application form. Please refer the details and application process flow on University of Mumbai portal www.mum.digitaluniversity.ac
• All the candidates are required to fill online Anti-Ragging Undertaking at www.amanmovement.org or at www.antiragging.in. After filling up of the undertaking students must submit hard copies (one for the students and other for the parents) dully signed to College office.
