A total of 99 unique nominations were received from eligible candidates for various Student Council positions. The election was conducted in accordance with the prescribed election guidelines and disciplinary instructions to ensure a fair, transparent, and orderly process.

Vote Calculation Method

The final vote calculation was based on the following rule:

  1. 50% weightage: Votes obtained from CR, LR and DCR.
  2. 50% weightage: Votes obtained from Senior Faculty Members of the Institute.

Thus, the final result was determined by assigning equal weightage to the student representatives’ votes and the senior faculty members’ votes.

The election process was completed successfully, with active participation from the candidates, student representatives, and faculty members. The process helped promote democratic values, leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and student participation in institutional activities.
