Dr. Rajesh H Kulkarni is Director of Smt Indira Gandhi College of Engineering. Prior to SIGCE he played various roles such as Asst. Director, Vice Principal, Accreditation coordinator, HOD of Computer Engineering and ME Coordinator in his previous organizations.
In a career spanning more than 23 years he authored four books, published research papers in SCOPUS/SCI indexed Journals and published six Patents. He has research interest in HCI, Software Engineering, Data Sciences, Machine Intelligence and IOT.
Dr Rajesh Kulkarni played key role for his previous college in initiating MoU’s and collaboration with Foreign Universities. He travelled PAN Maharashtra and delivered more than 80 career awareness seminars. He completed consultancy project on “Data Personalization” for E Business Canvass, Pune. He established industry sponsored IoT lab and Machine Learning Lab.
In SIGCE he has initiated student clubs (IOT, Coding, Machine Learning etc), project based learning, alumni and all stakeholders reach out and playing a lead role in changing the perception of engineering education opportunities through career awareness sessions, seminars, workshops and whitepapers.
Message
As Director I am committed to the vision of our founder Honorable Sri. V. M. Jadhav who is immensely passionate about education. I also am actively working towards achieving the mission of our managing trustee Sri. Sunil Jadhav to make this college a world class institution. The college has already made a mark in education sector of Mumbai as a placement capital of Mumbai with a record of more than 150 placement drives in a short span of time. Student clubs are proactively contributing in college development. Our incubation effort initiated by our managing trustee by name Ignition is showing good results. Our alumni also is very proactive. In all, on behalf of management, I ensure all future students you will evolve, discover and explore and will be a better human being with good technical and entrepreneurial abilities.
