ICT enabled classrooms: 

ICT at SIGCE involves the integration of modern technology with traditional blackboard teaching methods and interactive learning practices, creating a balanced and engaging learning environment. To enhance the teaching–learning process classrooms are equipped with computers, projectors, multimedia devices, interactive boards, and internet connectivity. While smart classrooms and digital resources enhance visualization and access to information, the use of blackboards allows teachers to explain concepts step-by-step, encourage student participation, and maintain a personal connection in the classroom. Wireless Access on Campus:

The campus is Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) enabled, allowing students, faculty, and visitors at SIGCE to enjoy flexible and seamless internet access. Users can browse the web and exchange resourceful information anytime and from anywhere within the campus through wireless routers.

Internet

SIGCE is equipped with a high-speed 300 Mbps broadband Internet connection, ensuring fast and reliable access to online resources across the campus. This robust bandwidth supports academic activities such as e-learning, online examinations, research work, and smooth administrative operations for students, faculty, and staff.

G -Suite

The E-mail facility is managed through G Suite, which provides us web, based email client, and built in chat facility, Google Docs, Google Apps, Google Classroom and few other facilities as well. Every faculty & student has an e-mail ID on sigce.edu.in domain. College promote faculty to use Google classroom to share books, notes, paper and other study materials.

Biometric Attendance System

A biometric attendance system is an automated system that records attendance of staff using unique biological characteristics such as fingerprints or facial recognition. The system stores data securely and allows easy monitoring and report generation, thereby improving efficiency, transparency, and time management at SIGCE campus. It is step towards e governance and supports the “Save Tree” approach by reducing paperwork and promoting a paperless environment.

The institute utilizes various software applications to support academic, administrative, financial, and library operations, ensuring efficient management and seamless delivery of services.

College ERP System

The institute uses an ERP system to streamline various academic and administrative processes. The ERP is used for admission management, fee collection and accounting, examination-related activities, and student information management, ensuring efficient and transparent operations.

SOUL – Library Management Software

The Library uses SOUL Library Management Software software for smooth and efficient library management. It supports cataloguing, circulation, member management, OPAC search, and report generation, helping provide quick and user-friendly library services to students and staff.

Account

EasyPAY – Payroll Management Software

The institute uses EasyPAY by Sensys Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for payroll management. The software supports salary processing based on attendance, salary component management, payslip generation, salary register generation, and secure data backup, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll administration.

EasyTDS – TDS Management Software

EasyTDS by Sensys Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is used for managing Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance. It facilitates TDS calculations, generation of Form 16 and Form 16A, preparation of quarterly e-TDS returns, income tax projections, report generation, and secure data backup.

Tally ERP 9 – Accounting Software

The institute uses Tally ERP 9 for financial accounting and management. The software enables recording of accounting transactions, generation of financial statements, budget monitoring, cost allocation, and secure data management, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial operations.
