Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering is a zonal lead partner of www.leadingindia.ai of Bennett University (Times of India group) Noida, UP- India.World is on the cusp of a revolution about new possibilities in AI and Machine Learning. Deep Learning is being used to solve many critical health care related issues apart from other important areas that impact society.
Industry all over the world is facing huge scarcity of trained manpower in machine intelligence. Companies working in autonomous vehicular industry, Advanced data science, image processing, Video analytic are short of talent. The whole spectrum of applications important for our planet are waiting for new innovations and ideas due to this newly found potential around deep learning. This collaboration will help bring India to a prominent place in the field of AI manpower and research SIGCE has Collaborated on nationwide initiative on "AI and deep learning Skilling and Research" as Zonal Lead Partner.
This is a consortium of various leading Industries and Universities like NVIDIA and AWS Educate, Videoken and Edvantics which are industry partners and University college, London, Brunel University, London and Bennett University, India are university collaborators.
Specific Deliverables
- To provide upto 10 internships to the students in summer at NVIDIA-Bennett Supercomputing Lab without any internship charges.Living costs needs to borne by the students.
- Certificates to the workshop and Research Group participants
- Assessment of the ongoing Student projects which fall under the domain of the project will be done by us.
- We will provide 100+ Industry ready student project specifications on our portal.
- To enable the AWS Cloud credits for the teachers and students of Zonal lead institution as per our understanding with AWS Educate. Around 100 Students apart from the associated faculty will get cloud credits worth 8000 US Dollars.
- To Make a centralized database of the trained individuals to have easy access for the industry who is looking for talent in this field.
- To provide technical support to implement different projects by research group as per the domain area.
- To help one instructor to become NVIDIA DLI (Deep Learning Institute) Ambassadors depending upon their understanding of the technology.Final decision regarding this lies with NVIDIA.
