Alumni

Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering takes pride in its 25 years of academic excellence . The institute has to its credit the making a large number of professionals from NASA to ISRO. Thus during the last 25 years, the institute has worked tirelessly in giving to the society , engineers par excellence making a mark at the National as well as at the International level.

To harness this talent , we have taken a step forward in connecting to the Alumni, as we believe that our alumni is reflection of our past, representation of our present and a pivotal link to the future. Alumni's are encouraged to join us and help us in taking the instruction forward.

Activities

• Alumni meets: Our institution has been conducting Alumni meets (department wise) each year. These meets are organized with the help from our current students. This interaction between the alma matter and alumni helps them wherein the alumni play a active role for mentoring students in the areas of expertise It also is a professional networking platform available to the institute.
• Sangam 2018 : To improve this link between the institute , alma- matter and our alumni , we orgainized the alumni meet 'Sangam 2018' on 6th January 2018. All our alumni, right from our first batch in 1997 to our very recent 2017 batch alumni attended the meet.
• Placements : Alumni association has helped us to improve our activities like our placements, career guidance for the students.Recently with the more interaction of our students with the alumni on social media, our students are able to get offers for jobs.
• The alumni meets have helped us in providing a platform for guidance to the students by way of lectures and interaction and sharing of information.
